Transfer Students

Earn credit toward your online degree at Southeastern University by transferring coursework from a previous regionally accredited institution.

  • For undergraduate programs, you may transfer up to 90 credits. At least 25 percent of credits must be completed at Southeastern University.
  • For graduate programs, you may transfer up to 9 credits.

Transferring your credits is a simple process that your enrollment counselor will walk you through. You will need to submit an official transcript from all previous institutions in a sealed envelope from the college or university. All credits accepted in the process must be graded as a ā€œCā€ or higher, and these courses will be calculated into your GPA. Although Southeastern University accepts transfer credits, be sure to have your transcripts officially evaluated in order to know exactly which classes transfer and how they transfer in.
Please note that Southeastern University accepts transfer credits from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
